Knowledge Level of Grade XII Senior High School Students Regarding HIV/AIDS

Background: AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a collection of symptoms or diseases caused by decrease in the immune system from body due to infection HIV (Human Virus) which belongs retroviridae family. Teenagers themselves are vulnerable HIV/AIDS. The right and precise knowledge important prevention efforts adolescents. Method: This research descriptive with cross-sectional design. sample population this study was grade XII senior high school students 2020/2021 at Methodist – 2 Medan sampling total sampling. analyzed univariately look images. Result: From results study, it has obtained that level - had good about / number 144 people (70.6%). Conclusion: found HIV/AIDS mostly category.
